As a matter of fact, dust and tiny particles are the top hidden cause of early switch failure. Therefore, high-grade industrial waterproof switches must be produced, assembled and sealed strictly in a dust-free clean workshop.
Tiny dust particles may seem negligible, but once they enter the inside of a switch, they will lead to serious faults:
First, dust falling into contact gaps causes poor contact, unstable conduction and intermittent power failure, resulting in light flickering and control failure during equipment operation.
Second, dust absorbs moisture and accelerates contact oxidation and metal corrosion, shortening switch service life and increasing equipment maintenance costs.
Third, residual lint and particles during assembly damage the sealing structure, invalidate IP68 waterproof switch performance, and eventually cause short circuits due to water and dust ingress.

Fourth, tiny impurities stuck inside spring plates and rocker structures lead to button sticking and poor rebound, greatly affecting the operation feel and safety of seat adjustment and equipment control.
Industrial switches are designed for harsh outdoor working conditions with requirements of waterproof, shockproof, dustproof and wide temperature resistance. Without dust-free control in production, even premium structural design and high-quality raw materials cannot guarantee stable performance. A dust-free manufacturing environment effectively isolates airborne dust, fibers and micro-particles, ensuring clean contacts, impurity-free internal cavities and perfect fitting of sealing rings. It fundamentally avoids quality problems such as poor contact, sticking, water leakage and premature aging.
